Joe Geisbauer, PhD
I am a mathematician and data scientist. My motto is "Simply trying to make the world a better place and ease people's lives one algorithm at a time." My passion is leveraging my mathematical and technical knowledge as well as my deep love of life to help others.
I received my PhD from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 2013 and immediately went into industry. I have experience working with retail, weather, healthcare, oil and various image datasets and algorithms. I believe that artificial intelligence and machine learning can be applied to a variety of tasks in order to help humans become more efficient and ease the increasing burdens placed on human workers in the workforce.
